What to do with a blank bingo card
- Let players fill in their own. Hand out blank cards and a list of words or numbers on the board; each player writes their own choices, so every card is different.
- Classroom review. Students copy vocabulary, spelling words or answers into the squares, then play while you read clues.
- Picture bingo for little ones. Children draw or stick pictures in the squares: animals, shapes, colors.
- Plan a custom game. Sketch your layout by hand before you type it into the bingo card generator, which fills the cards in for you.

One card to a page leaves big squares for handwriting and pictures; four or six to a page saves paper for a crowd.
Tips for playing with handwritten cards
- Write the list of words or numbers where everyone can see it, with a few more than the squares on a card.
- Give players a few minutes to fill their cards in, in any order they like.
- Call the items at random: the word caller draws words with no repeats, and the bingo caller or number generator draws numbers.
- First to complete a line shouts bingo. Then play on for four corners or a full card.
